The Full Story Behind
Adoptable Adventures
Adoptable Adventures is my way of combining three of my favorite things: dogs, the Gulf Coast, and getting outdoors. 🐾🌿 What started as simple “dog day out” videos—biking and exploring local trails with my own pup—quickly turned into something bigger: a chance to give adoptable dogs a real day in the sun, outside the stress and noise of the shelter. Instead of seeing them behind a kennel door, you get to see who they really are on a trail, at a park, or lounging at a dog-friendly patio.
Each adventure features an adoptable dog from a local shelter or rescue in Baldwin County or the Pensacola area, plus a spotlight on one of our incredible outdoor spaces here along the Alabama–Florida Gulf Coast—bike paths, hiking trails, waterfront parks, outdoor dining and more. The goal is simple:
help great dogs find great humans, encourage people to adopt, not shop, and show what everyday life with a rescue dog can really look like in our community.
Adoptable Adventures is created and hosted by me, Katie Ragland, REAL Broker, LLC—a Gulf Coast Realtor who believes that “home” is better when it includes muddy paws, wet noses, and plenty of fresh air.

Queen
Queen is even more incredible than her name suggests—a total snuggle bug who’s ready to rule your heart (and your treat pouch). 👑💛 She’s very food-motivated and already knows how to sit when there’s a reward involved, walks nicely on a leash, loves a good belly rub, and enjoys exploring the trails at Blakeley State Park—nose to the ground, tail wagging, taking in every sight and smell. Queen is currently available for adoption through the Daphne Animal Shelter. Cher
Cher may start off shy, but don’t let that fool you—this girl’s heart is pure gold and she opens up faster than you’d ever expect. 💛🐾 The moment she feels safe, her playful, goofy side bursts out: slinging toys, zooming around, and checking in with gentle little jumps or a single paw on your foot just to make sure you’re still with her. She went from cautious to confident in one short adventure through downtown Foley, trusting us to cross the street and even brave her very first elevator ride. Cher is currently available for adoption through Zeke’s Rescued Paws while staying at Central Baldwin Vet Hospital.
